Flat racing trainer at Kingsdown stables in Upper Lambourn. Ed started training in 2010, when he rented a small yard, within St Gatien Stable in Newmarket. Since then he has grown his business gradually and relocated on 4 occasions, finally settling at Kingsdown in December 2016.
Ed has improved the quality of his string of horses over the years and has put together a team of people who he feels share his passion for horses and racing.
With racehorse ownership moving more to partnerships and syndicates he has designed his website to help keep every owner, no matter how small their share of the horse is, up-to-date on a regular basis. Owners have their own username and password which gives them access to their private information, enabling them to watch videos of their horses, see pictures and receive regular updates.
The website also provides details of the ownership options available, which include sole ownership, racing partnerships for up to 20 people, syndicates and leasing. It also includes regular news updates about their runners.
There are 78 stables at Kingsdown, divided between 3 traditional courtyards and 1 American style barn. Facilities at the stables include: 2 covered horse walkers, indoor and outdoor trotting ring, 3 private grass gallops, plus the facilities provided by The Jockey Club Estates.
