About Hereford Racecourse
Hereford is a jumps only racecourse owned and run by the Arena Racing Company. It closed down in December 2012, having failed to obtain a new lease from the Herefordshire Council. The course re-opened again in October 2016 and is set to have 11 annual race meetings.

Course Details
National Hunt:
Sharpish Right-handed, square shaped, circuit of 1 mile 4 furlongs. The ground is generally flat but can become very testing during the winter months.
Going Racing at Hereford
Car
From the north, take the A49 from Leominster, then the A4110. From the south, opt for the A49 and A495. The A438 through Hereford runs close to the course.
Train
You can reach Hereford Racecourse from both the main London Paddington and South Wales lines. There are also regular connections from Manchester, Cardiff and Birmingham. Hereford station is just a mile from the course.
