About Kelso Racecourse
Was a flat racing course until 1888, when the United Border Hunt moved to the course. Since then, Kelso has been exclusively for national hunt racing.
The web site includes a list of raceday fixtures, racing guide that provides information to help you plan your day at the races and details of accommodation near to the racecourse. It also provides information on conferences and corporate events, plus weddings and function hire.
Highlights of their racing calendar include the Scottish Borders National & Festive Family Day in December, the Morebattle Hurdle day in February and the Premier Hurdle day in March.

National Hunt:
Left-handed and undulating. Hurdles course of 1 mile 1 furlong is sharp, more so than 1 mile 3 furlong chase track, which has a punishing uphill 2 furlong run-in.
Going Racing at Kelso
Car
Kelso racecourse is north of Kelso itself, off the A6089 and the A699. From London, take the A1(M) then pick up the A697 and A698. From the west, take the M6 exiting Junction 44, then follow the A7 and A698.

The nearest station is at Berwick, 22 miles away, on the line from London Kings Cross.
