On Day One of the festival SP2A’s Elite Service produced the biggest loss of the tipsters proofing their selections to Racing-Index. What a difference a day makes, as on Day Two they made the biggest profit of all. The main reason for the difference was the win for Veneer Of Charm who won the Fred Winter at 33/1 (BSP 50.0), which helped them to 41.14 points profit on the day at Betfair SPs.
2020 Racing didn’t proof any selections on Day One of the festival, but they made up for lost time with 26.44 points profit on Day Two. It’s been a cracking month for their subscribers, as last week they tipped up Man Of Verve at 80/1, with a BSP of 164.80. Their profit’s yesterday came from Bleu Berry’s win in the Coral Cup at 20/1 (BSP 32.88).
It was another good day for Bet Alchemist, who followed up the profit of 7.86 points on Day One, with an additional 16.35 points on Day Two. It’s particularly pleasing to see Nicky Doyle do well at the festival, as his is one of the services mentioned on our Cheltenham Festival Betting page. His profits on Day 2 also came mainly as a result of Bleu Berry’s win.
Oddswise Racing came up trumps in the Bumper courtesy of Relegate’s 25/1 (BSP 29.00) victory, which they’d advised each-way, helping them to a profit of 10.49 points on the day.
Overall Performance After Two Days
At the half way point of the Festival Northern Monkey Punter remains in front, after adding an additional 4.81 points to the 32 points gained on Day One.
SP2A’s profits on day two see them leap up into 2nd place, while 2020 racing hit the ground running in 3rd. They’re closely followed by Bet Alchemist in 4th and Equine Expert complete the top 5 thanks to additional profits yesterday from Presenting Percy, winner of the RSA Chase and Altior’s victory in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
