Prize Lay - What is it ? This is a system for horse racing in the U.K. and Ireland. It covers all types of racing - Flat, National Hunt and All Weather and is specifically targeted for betting on horses to Lose a race. In the racing fraternity this mode of betting is called Laying, as distinct from the normal and traditional method of Backing. This form of betting is available through betting exchanges. The ultimate aim of the system is to make consistent profits from racing.
Statistically, of all the favourites in all the horse races in the U.K. and Ireland only 34% of them Win. Conversely, 66% of them Lose and that's the fact developed by Prize Lay. By adding filters the Prize Lay increases the likelihood of a favourite losing its race from 66% to 86 %- (average over the last two years). By winning 86 out of every 100 bets opens the opportunity to make a profit.
