Spread betting offers a number of bet opportunities for horse racing that are not available from conventional fixed odds betting. Once you've placed a spread bet, you have the option to stop the bet when you want. So if your selection is doing well and you're in for a decent profit, you can take a profit. Race Index

Distances

A Distances spread bet is a prediction on the total winning margins (distance between first and second placed horses) of each race at the meeting. Points are awarded a s 1 point per length won by. See Distances Spread Betting

Starting Prices

Favourites

Racing Post Favourites

A Racing Post Favourites spread bet is a prediction on the performance of the favourites, as forecast in the Racing Post newspaper, in each race at a meeting. Jockey / Trainer Performance

Double Card

A Double Card spread bet is a prediction on the total of the racecard numbers of all the winners, at a particular meeting, multiplied by 2. See Double Card Spread Betting

Heavyweights

A Heavyweights spread bet is a prediction on the performance of the horses with race card number 1 (top weighted) in each of the races at the meeting. Points are awarded as: 25 points for winning; 10 points for second and 5 points for third. See Heavyweights Spread Betting

Featherweights

Stop At A Winner

Multi-Mules
