King's Stand Stakes

The King's Stand Stakes is a group 2 race over 5 furlongs for 3 year old horses, run during the Royal Ascot meeting.

Initially called the Stand Plate in 1837, it went on to be named the Royal Stand Plate and the Queen's Plate before taking its present name in 1901.
