Princess Elizabeth StakesThe Princess Elizabeth Stakes is a Group 3 race for fillies aged 3 and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. The race is run over a distance of 1 mile 114 yards at Epsom during the Derby meeting in early June.
The race was originally for 3 year old fillies only during the Epsom Spring meeting and was considered as a trial for the Oaks. However it was discontinued after the 1991 running.
