Over half way through the Royal meeting now and day 3 turned out to be a good one for the Newmarket Betting Club thanks to Bless Him winning the Britannia Stakes at 25/1 (BSP 40.19). They proofed him as an each-way selection and made a tidy profit of 20.9 points, based upon 1 point level stakes at Betfair SP. Nothing to be sneezed at.
Over the previous 2 days the Speculate 2 Accumulate site has seen good profits from their Barry Nicholls and 2015 Elite Service, on Day 3 it was the turn of their The Advisor service. Although the above table shows a 66.7% strike rate on the day that doesn’t really paint an accurate picture. They tipped 2 horses, both in the Hampton Court Stake, the first of which was an each-way bet on Orderofthegarter, who finished 2nd at 100/30, making a loss of 0.02 points after Betfair commission taken into account. The other was for a win and place bet on Benbatl, who won the race at 9/2 (BSP 5.88 for the win and 2.39 place).
Form Ratings were also on the mark. Both Benbatl and Coronet were rated in their top 2 and they finished the day with a BSP profit of 5.81 points.
Overall the SP2A – 2015 Elite Service remains out in front, but their lead has been reduced to 6 points, so things could easily change over the 2 remaining days of Royal Ascot.
Again very few lay bets from the tipsters who proof their selections, so nothing much to write about.
